Cooper Lake State Park
Cooper Lake State Park a park of 3,026 acres. The park has two seperate units. Doctors Creek Unit is located in Delta County. South Sulphur Unit is located in Hopkins County.
Cooper Lake State Park has some of the best pads to park on. They are concrete, level and deep. The park has plenty of tall trees to provide shade in the heat of summer. Both parks opened in 1996.
If you pull a boat behind your RV then this is the lake to come to. The park has a nice boat ramp (six lanes wide) with a fishing pier.
There are several miles of hiking and mountain bike trails to explore. The South Sulphur Unit has a 3 mile trail for equestrian use.
The swimming area has a sandy beach and a barrier of tires to help dampen the waves from boats.
